Today

Today is exactly that....just today! I woke up feeling pretty good and things have not been overly exiting or anything, but they have not been negative by any means either. I am ready to get off so I can go to Fry's and spend some mulah (via gift certificates) that I recieved from Christmas. Other than that all is pretty much plain today!

Well I dont have much else to say except "GO MAVS"!!!! The mavs pulled off an exciting win with just 1/10th of a second left when Stack hit a bucket for the win!

Have a great day!

TEXAS IS #1 Thanks To MR IN-VINCE-ABLE

Well here we are on the 5th day of 2006 and already Texas has proven itself as a state. (Which could be its own country technically) Our TEXAS LONGHORNS stepped up to the plate and hit a Grand Slam to win the game! Well at least Vince Young did anyways. As the Horns were trailing USC last night I just knew that they could still pull it off. I had all the confidence in the world that the team...er...um...I mean....Vince could pull it off, and what do ya know HE DID! As I predicted to some of my friends Vince Young also had more Rushing Yards than Reggie Bush. All in all it was probly the best game I have ever watched!!!!!! I still cant figure out what USC was thinking by having there Heisman Trophy winning running back on the sidelines when they needed just 2 yards for a first to probly clench the game. I mean he is the one person that can make stuff happen out of thin air. I am very happy that it did not happen like that though because now we can brag as Texans that we have the #1 College Football Team to go along with our Football Enthused State! Thank you "MR IN-VINCE-ABLE" for giving us this opportunity!

And You Though You Had A Bad Day!

This guy looses the key to a lock which he had placed on chains, which he had wrapped around his legs. Why did he lock the chain around his ankles? Because he is an artist and wanted to paint a realistic rendering of legs bound by chains.

But here is the kicker, this guy is in the desert and has to hop for 12 hours to get to a phone and have someone come help.

I just thought this was crazy/funny and wanted to share. I found the story at MSNBC and you can read it here!

I'll bet he could now paint a realistic picture of the desert, although it might be a bit fuzzy....all that hopping around!

Well another deer hunt for me....but this time I did not see any deer. I cant imagine why but it may have been because I was sleeping like the guy in this picture about half the time I was in the stand. My luck there was a large 8 point walking by laughing at me and there I was just snoring away!

Guess thats part of it!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Finally I can talk about Christmas

Well I have been so busy that I have not had a chance to talk about the Christmas weekend. I had a really good time however I was feeling kinda woozy most of the time. (Actually a blessing in disguise because I did not eat much!) I received lots of gifts and giftcards which is always fun. Julie and I spent time with her family and my family and her other family and my other family and so on..... We had a great time and were really excited to receive a bunch of stuff for our Apartment we will be getting in about 5 and 1/2 months when we get married. I think we officially have everything we need except for an entertainment center and couch. (I gave away my entertainment center to a friend last time I moved because I was tired of moving it and scratching it up)
Also I interviewed for a new position (promotion) at my company this morning which is awesome because I have only been here about 1 and 1/2 months. I have a good feeling about it but wont know anything until next week.

Well have a great day and talk to you soon!!!
